AMY SCHULTZ | BOOK AUTHOR

Owner of Unplain Jane Studio, Amy combines her passions for photography, writing, and storytelling. Her ​project, MUMENTOUS, initially a photography study in 2016, evolved into a multimedia art exhibit during her ​residency at the Arlington Museum of Art in 2019. It later transformed into her first book. The Texas ​Historical Commission adapted MUMENTOUS into a traveling cultural heritage exhibit in Fall 2023.

Renowned figure in Texas for his innovative spirit wear designs since 1982. As the owner of Casa Granada ​Floral, he holds the title of Texas State Florist Association Designer of the Year. Additionally, he serves as a ​product ambassador for Rio Roses and a brand ambassador for Smithers OASIS, North America, being ​recognized as one of the top 25 designers in the US.

Jessie alcazar | Mum Designer

Owner of Simply Mums by Jessie, Jessie is a home-based homecoming mum designer in McAllen, Texas. She ​has been creating mums since 2004 with her first orders being for family and close friends. She hopes to ​continue to build her business in the years to come.

Jessica TORRES | Mum Designer

Owner of Jess Creations Cheer Bows & More specializes in handcrafting custom products, from stunning ​homecoming mums to personalized graduation caps and so much more! With over 20 years of experience ​Jessica has taken her creations from the Rio Grande Valley to all across Texas.

Ricky cantu | marketing director

With a business degree from Texas A&M University and a Master's in Public Administration from UTRGV, Ricky ​serves as Marketing Director for Clark Chevrolet and Clark Knapp Honda Dealerships, while also acting as ​Marketing Coordinator for his family's business, Amistad Floral and Crafts.

A. There will be five immersive classes led by talented designers! You'll learn ​everything from skirt techniques, crafting a mum from scratch, dressing up ​plushies, mastering the art of bows and braids, and marketing your masterpieces.
